Throwback Thursday - Storyboards

The Beloved Community Project invited original participants to create storyboards at its second gathering in 2015. Inspired by Beth Mount's "Shining Star Portraits," storyboards were a creative way of illustrating the past, present and future. Participants were asked to expose their struggles related to childhood, health, education, employment, family, friendship and inclusion. This was part of a process to honor their experiences as a people with disabilities; capture their stories of survival and resilience; and celebrate the gifts and insights that have emerged. #ThrowbackThursday See Less
